Erin Brady

Biography

I am currently a senior at High Point University in North Carolina where I am double majoring in Physics and Studio Art with a minor in Mathematics. Last summer I was selected for the SuRPS (Summer Research Program in the Sciences) at my university where I worked to characterize a custom built angular momentum apparatus with quadcopter technology to teach physics in introductory classes. I have been an active member of my SPS chapter since 2016, and I served as Secretary for the 2017-2018
academic year and am the currently the Vice President. I was among the 2018 inaugural inductees of the Sigma Pi Sigma chapter at my university. After graduation I plan to work in a science museum or as a scientific illustrator to create visual representations of physics concepts and phenomenon to be able to communicate science to the public.
