Keith Hoffmeister

Biography

I am approaching my senior year at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and am majoring in physics with a minor in computer science. I have conducted research on the magnetic manipulation of micro-magnetic particles and their characteristics. I have been involved in SPS my entire college career, serving as a board member of our chapter for two years. I've also enjoyed leading an engineering club at Rhodes that involves many SPS chapter members. Through our chapter, I've been able to share my knowledge of physics with many others and generate an interest in physics within our community. Outside of college, I am actively taking flight lessons and will continue to do so after graduation as it is my dream to have a career in commercial aviation. Hobbies of mine include all things aviation, engineering, and videography.
