SPS Future Teacher Scholarship
I have been involved in SPS since my sophomore year. Last year I worked with the president of our chapter of SPS to coordinate a conference for young women in the area. The conference was open to all young women between grades 6 and 12, and was attended by over 200 young women. In April I will graduate from BYU with a degree in applied physics with an emphasis in secondary education and a minor in mathematics. When I graduate I plan on teaching for a few years and will then continue my education in graduate school pursuing a master's degree in physics education and a gifted and talented endorsement.
