Tristen White

Biography

I am a rising senior at Juniata College, a small liberal arts college located in Huntingdon, PA. When I first came here, I did not intend on pursuing a physics major. However, after taking some physics classes for my original major and interacting with the amazing SPS community, I quickly learned that physics was for me. I have had the chance to explore various interests and research options from optical systems, electron diffraction, and even performing a semester-long research project with the company "Remote Intelligence".  My involvement with physics and my time as an SPS officer has allowed me to reach out to my campus and local community, meet amazing people and physicists, and has opened many doors for my future. Speaking of future, I plan on attending graduate school and pursue either applied physics, aeronautics, or geophysics. I hope to take my knowledge and experience of leadership I have learned at Juniata and apply it to whatever I put my mind to!
