This week, I am writing this blog post from my new spot along the Potomac! Rock Creek park extends near our apartment building, and it has become one of my favorite spaces to come run or just hang out. The sunset here is beautiful, and the people-watching is even better.

Work this week was mostly looking at code and understanding how it works. At the end I spent time putting together tables that I would be needing for the last few weeks. Wasn’t super exciting work but it was nice to finally understand the code that I have been looking at for a couple weeks.

This week started with a bang of colors. Monday was the 4th of July, America’s Independence Day. In the morning we went around Washington monument to watch the parade. Then we went for a quick lunch at Duke’s. Later around 6-6:30 we left GWU for the Washington monument one more time.
