Making Waves: a Hands-On Interference Lab for High School Students
Most students have never seen quantum phenomena in their daily lives, and therefore have diculty grasping its counterintuitive nature. To build intuition and inspire interest in quantum physics, Stony Brook SPS proposes a hands-on guided lab activity for students to build Mach–Zehnder interferometers and witness interference and wave-particle dualityrsthand.
