Priktish Rao Suntoo

Biography

I am an upcoming senior at Lycoming College majoring in Physics and Mathematics. I have served as the webmaster of my Lycoming College SPS chapter for two years, and I look forward to remaining involved and contributing to SPS as the treasurer next year. Being a member and officer of SPS truly helped me throughout my undergraduate career, and I enjoy being part of the community. After I graduate from Lycoming College, I intend to pursue a doctoral degree in physics. I am largely interested in the field of particle physics, and I wish to become a theoretical physicist in the future. Last semester, I worked on muon detector research, and, this summer, I am working on an REU project based on the study of Q-balls and their relation to dark matter. I am also working on an honors project at Lycoming College, which is about mortgage lifetimes and payments. I look forward to my senior year and hope to remain heavily involved with SPS.
