Emma Moreland

Biography

I am currently a student at Juniata College studying engineering-physics with a minor in mathematics and will graduate in December of 2021. I have been an active member of Society of Physics Students (SPS) and Women in Physics (WiP) since my first year at Juniata. I have served as the secretary, vice-president, and president of WiP. I also really enjoy my role as a tutor and a teacher's assistant for our physics department. Outside of physics, I am a member of the women's soccer team and the Citizen's Climate Lobby at Juniata. In my free time you can find me in the ceramics department making wheel thrown pottery. After graduation, I look forward to working in industry and travelling the world!
