SPS Leadership Scholarship
I am a senior at Rutgers University majoring in Physics and minoring in Mathematics and Philosophy. I joined the Rutgers chapter at the beginning of my freshman year and was appointed to the position of treasurer for the following two years. I am excited to be taking on the position of chapter president for my senior year. My research interests are in experimental and computational condensed matter physics. My previous project investigated transport phenomena of colloid nanoparticles using molecular dynamics simulations. My current project is investigating bilayer graphene synthesis methods, with a focus on chemical vapor deposition on copper foil substrates. I intend to pursue a Ph.D in experimental condensed matter physics.
