Prashant Sharma

Prashant Sharma is currently an Associate Professor of Physics at Suffolk University in Boston. Prior to holding this position Sharma was a postdoctoral researcher at Cornell University, Ithaca, and then at Argonne National Laboratory. His research is in theoretical condensed matter physics and experimental biophysics. Sharma encourages undergraduate students to participate in his research. A group of his students were awarded the SPS undergraduate research award in 2008 and 2012; a student in his lab has also been the recipient of the Goldwater scholarship in 2010.
