Brian Schwartz

Brian Schwartz began teaching at Carthage College in 2000, and received his Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from UWMadison in 2001. His research interests range from pion production at threshold energies to the influence of historical developments in cosmology on the social sciences. He has worked closely with SPS on both the local and national levels, and is an untiring advocate for and promulgator of undergraduate research. Dr. Schwartz has served as the Zone 9 Councilor since 2011.
