Biography

I am a Physics and Computer Science double major at Wellesley College, in Massachusetts! I am an International Student originally from Brazil, and came to the United States at 19 years old through a full-ride scholarship to start my studies at Wellesley! I am a low-income, first-generation, Latinx student, and my work with Wellesley's Society of Physics Students and with students in the Wellesley's Physics Department has always involved Diversity and Inclusion! Through my work, I strive to make Physics a more welcoming environment for underrepresented students, because 'when we enter a physics classroom, we bring our full selves, and we become what a physicist looks like'! Ultimately, I want to go to graduate school to become an Engineer or perhaps get more instruction to work with Quantum Computing or Quantum Information -- a field that would have me applying both of my undergraduate fields of study together!
