Diego Espinoza

Biography

In Spring 2022, I graduated from Northern Virginia Community College (NVCC) as an international student. Then, I was granted a year's authorization to work in a job related to my Associates of Science. Afterwards, I will be transferring to George Mason University (GMU) in Fall 2023 to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Physics. During my time at NVCC, I was an active member of the Society of Physics Students chapter, and I was honored to serve as the president for a couple of semesters. We worked on exciting projects, including the construction of a hydroponic greenhouse and organizing conferences for students to share their research. While I am at GMU I will continue my participation in the SPS chapter contributing to it while exploring my research interests in Thermodynamics and Statistical Mechanics. My ultimate goal is to obtain a PhD and work in academia, where I can share my knowledge by teaching and conducting research.
