On the cover
Have you arranged to attend the 2004
Sigma Pi Sigma Congress? This is the kick-off event for
the World Year of Physics
(WYP). The 2004 Sigma Pi Sigma Congress is planned for October
15-16 in Albuquerque, NM. The theme of the meeting is “Heritage
& Promise,” with distinguished speakers such as
Nobelist Carl
Wieman; scientific presidential advisor John
Marburger; pulsar co-discoverer Jocelyn
Bell-Burnell; and Hydrogen author, John
Rigden.
We have initiated a “One
& One” campaign in which we are striving to
have each Sigma Pi Sigma chapter represented by at least one
undergraduate delegate and one alumni delegate to the Congress.
If you would like to participate in the Congress, or support
a student to participate, please let us know.
